Since the start of 2011, I have aquired many excellent new things. For example...
After two and a half years of using a shower curtain so dark that photographs could be developed in the shower, I have a new shower curtain.
Since last October, I've been collecting these little stamps my local grocery store gives out for every 10 dollars you spend. I've been aquiring other people's stickers as well. Then at the end of January I was able to trade them in for some new, very nice pans. One is a deep skillet with a lid and the other is a small frying pan. They are so much nicer than the cheepo pans I got when I first moved out of the house.
But probably most importantly...
This is my new car. While I will save the waxing nostalgic about the old car for another blog, this car drives has power locks, power window, cruise control, windows I can see out of, a suspension, a radio face that lets me read what radio station I was on, four doors, and all four hubcaps.
I am looking for a name for her. If you have suggestions let me know! And do a little celebration for new things in the new year!

Names for your car.....when you were little I used to call you "Sunshine". Does she feel like a "Juliet"....a take off your name and Shakespeare? Or maybe she is a "Ruby". That's kind of fun too. Whatever you name her I am SOOOOO glad for you!
Your parents told me about your blog and subsequently I feel obligated to contribute to it. 1. I feel that I should point out that on your list of scary,crazy,fun things to do I have accomplished the last at least 3 times over and it is possible that it is the best thing I have done for myself in life. 2. your car should definitely be named Berta or Gertrude
