So this photo Friday has but one picture for your viewing pleasure.
After weeks of indecision and uncertainty, I present my brand new iPhone. I had long ago dismissed the idea of having such an expensive phone, but a few critical pieces came together for me. First, I was due for a phone upgrade which means that all the phones are as inexpensive as they will ever be. Second, with Apple presenting a new iPhone the old models all went on deep discount.
Yet even with those discounts, I was still unsure if I wanted to really invest $100 plus dollars in a phone. I love my Blackberry, and it does just fine for me. The kicker came when on my third visit to Best Buy they had an 8gig iPhone Refurbished. While it's warranty is a mere 3 months, it's price tag...
$50!
I jumped on that deal. That was as inexpensive as my Blackberry when I got it and less expensive than the Blackjack I had before that. Now that I've had a few days to use it I can say I am enjoying this phone so much! It is insanely easy to use. It has apps for things like my Bible and Facebook. Texting is a breeze. It's a great phone.
I like it so much I got it a cute little plaid case and named it Alice. (I named my iPod Mimzy from the poem the Jabberwocky. The poem plays a role in Alice in Wonderland, thus naming the phone Alice.)
Note to my future husband:
In the phone buying (and yesterday when I went to the mall with Kristy) I was reminded once again that I do NOT like the people who work in the kiosks at the mall. They freak me out. Long story as to why, but in the future, it is best to walk on the kiosk side of the mall when we are shopping. Keeps me from being nervous.
