Photo Friday - Fantastic Florida First Edition

I have to start this entire blog by saying THANK YOU! THANK YOU! to James and Christina for making everything in the blog post possible. It was their very generous wedding thank you/birthday gift that paid for the flight and rental car. You guys are awesome and I can't wait to celebrate your wedding(s)!

After two years, I finally was able to visit all my friends back in Florida. I had saved up some extra vacation days, mostly by not taking any all year, and I was pumped to get to see how much things had changed since I left the Sunshine State.

I got in so late on Wednesday night it was actually Thursday morning. Luckily, Jen didn't mind staying up for me. Thursday morning we made a quick trip across the state to Rockledge (Space Coast) to visit Dave, Sonya, and new baby Johanna!

We rushed back to Plant City to go to dinner with some fantastic kids from Hope's youth group. It was completely unbelievable how smart, funny, and grown up they all are. I got to hear about everything they have been up to in the past two years.

We even played some games!


Friday I made the trip to see my Great Aunt Ruth and Uncle Henry. Ruth is my grandma's older sister and I love visiting her because she and Henry have the BEST stories.

then I got a chance to Christy and her family!

The kids are awesome and huge.


We watched He-man and the Masters of the Universe, ate fantastic food, and talked until late into the night.

I'm going to wait until I can upload the pictures from my phone to show you the rest of the trip. Needless to say, it was amazing!
